Her Wish List

Western mothers practice baby shower sometime during the mid of their third trimesters. It is during these parties they receive gifts from loved ones, in preparation for baby's arrival.

Though I'm not one, we're still creating one wish list..."just in case" you want to buy Alyssa some items and do not know what is in mind. Haha, yes.... I know i'm being thick skin, but being practical is practical :P Many friends of the generous asked what else do we need, though it is hard to distinguish if the questions are genuine, or rather, of mere good gesture.

Better if we get something we need, instead of something we don't.
Anyway, do not care too much, I take it you are serious.... Not gonna be paiseh ok?? :P

Actually most of the important must have, we already bought em. The stoller was the latest gift from my aunts. As for the car seat, our cell members "verbally" booked it. I'm not sure if I should crossed it out just yet...

Next, the breast pump. Though a wish, i don't expect you to buy us lahhh :P It's one of the most pricy item. The cost ranges as high as 1.6k for a set of twin pumps of brands Avent or Medela. We'll probably shop for a cheaper set this weekend, targeting either Spectra or Ameda, around RM700-800. See how costly it can be? Of course you can get RM90 for a manual Pureen or Tollyjoy... and then end up with tired hands, sore boops and give up on breast feeding? We decided otherwise, need to invest in good equipment, for baby's sake.... and indirectly save the $ buying formulea ya? :D And according to some online readings, breast feeding burn at least 500 calories.

Apart from the pump, seat and items being crossed out... the rest are definitely welcome! We will constantly update the list above. If all else fail, item 20 is the best!
